A quick checklist to review before calling for service
1. This may
sound simple, but do you have any oil in your
tank?
2. Make sure your emergency switch is on.
This is usually a red switch plate located in
your basement stairwell or in your furnace
room.
3. Is your thermostat set higher than your
current room temperature?
4. Has a breaker been tripped, or do you have
a blown fuse?
5. If none of the four above items are the
issue, you may try pressing the Reset button
on your burner. Only try this once!
